Facial Expressions

You may also use guidebooks to search for a hotel in your preferred location since they tend to list hotels by location.

    If you will be bringing your family along, you may also want to ask for special deals or if hotels have family-friendly policies. Another important tip is to read hotel reviews made personally by a traveller. Sites such as TripAdvisor and VirtualTourists offer hotel reviews made by travellers. With the reviews, you can get an idea on the quality of customer service, how clean the rooms are or if the Wi-Fi service really works.

    Once you decide on which hotel to stay in, it is better to ask if you could check the room before actually booking it. There might be something that you missed to ask about the hotel, or the hotel just failed to mention that your room is just beside the restaurant or unclean.
